This App was created as part of my final year group project at the University of Kent, it is a weather app that not only allows the user to see if it is raining in their location but also allows them to add their friends and see if it is raining in their locations too.
Swimming Time Converter
This App was created to help convert swimming times. It consists of two conversions the first one being the ASA’s Equivalent Time Conversion using the Equivalent Time Algorithm, which can be found here. The second conversion uses the NCAA conversion factors, you convert this by 1) Taking the input time and converting it to seconds. 2) Finding the conversion factor for the stroke. 3) Timesing the time in seconds by the conversion factor. 4) Round this output to the nearest 100th and then convert back to minutes:seconds.tenths format.
